How We Are Different

At Dogs in Doors pet photography studio,  we strive to be a different.

Choosing a professional pet photographer can be a difficult decision.

We would like to make that decision less complicated.

The following is a list of distinctive characteristics that an informed consumer should compare when shopping for a pet photographer.

1.  Dogs in Doors offers a unique studio experience.  This studio was designed specifically for pet photography.   The studio is fabricated from original vintage materials.  Each of our different walls can be used as a photographic background. It is possible to create the illusion of being in an old barn or we can make the background look like abstract art. We diffuse light through materials such as old shutters, leaded glass windows and geometric ventilation grates.  Our studio sits at the intersection of photography and creativity. We feel you should expect this level of creativity from your pet photographer.

2.  Dogs in Doors offers a Image presentation session and a design consultation. This is usually an hour  long.  For the Image presentation session, we invite the client back to the studio. We view all the edited digital images in a relaxed environment. We will walk you through our gallery.  We will show you how printing medium and frame selection can affect the final product.  There will be no sales pitches. And there will be no pressure to purchase any products. We feel you should expect this from your pet photographer.
3.  Dogs in Doors is proud to offer a number of different products.  We understand that each client’s taste in aesthetics varies greatly, therefore we present a number of different options.   We offer beautiful prints on acid free museum quality fine art paper, quality canvas, and metal. We also offer custom framing and matting. Additional framing options will be presented .  Furthermore, we are proud to have created a framing option that is as unique as the studio. We search the county side for vintage barn wood with fantastic patinas.  We generally stock 30 to 50  custom barn wood frames in a variety of sizes.  We also offer gallery wraps for the individual who enjoys a clean and simple modern look.  We feel you should expect a variety of product choices from your pet photographer.
4. This studio is my passion and a labor of love. This project combines all of my favorite energies into one singular artistic expression. I would love to share this space with you and your furry friends. From the moment you enter Dogs in Doors, you will feel a welcoming energy.  I love working with animals, as Genuine Spirit illuminates the essence of their being. We feel you should expect this level of passion and commitment from your pet photographer.
